Two days. Skills that actually get you out there.
Camping with your horse? It’s one of the best ways to get our into the forests and wilderness around Pagosa Springs. This is where you learn how to camp with your horse in the backcountry.
April 25–26, we're running a backcountry camping simulation — in a controlled environment on a private ranch, where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and figure things out before you're twenty miles from the trailhead. We'll cover pack saddle rigging, balancing panniers, highlining, hobbling, and keeping both you and your horse healthy and comfortable out on the trail.
It's not glamorous. It's practical. And it'll open up a whole new kind of riding.
No packing experience or equipment needed — our all-women team will meet you where you are.
